Robin Wood: First Pile in the Ground

It’s official! Construction has begun at Robin Wood by MaMa Pioneers, marking the start of the largest massive timber city block in Amsterdam and the Netherlands. With the first pile now in the ground - and over 700 more to follow - the project is setting a strong foundation for sustainable, community-driven urban living.

Robin Wood will deliver 165 thoughtfully designed homes, offering diverse housing options that balance comfort, quality, and sustainability. Beyond housing, the city block will feature a public library, shops, offices, flexible workspaces, a café, art studios, parking, roof terraces, and a Tiny Forest — creating a vibrant ecosystem for residents and the wider community.
